I have stayed 4 times over the last 20 years. It has only improved and never taken a step backwards in that time. CCRR is a special place and even though I have tried I can't find anything equal or better between here and Sydney. And closer to Sydney would be nice. There is so much to love, the privacy, the quiet, the creek and swimming holes, the hammocks, baths, views...from every space in the the open planned cottages and of course the rainforest. Expensive...but worth it.

Immaculate, spacious, secluded luxury villas nestled in the mountains with spectacular bushwalks. Check out the glow worms and fireflies near the river after sunset. Very much in the rainforest as the name implies, so take plenty of mosquito repellent and be on the lookout for ticks and leaches. Very expensive, but very worth it.

Only positive comments for this place. Such as great escape from reality. Mark and the team are fantastic. Perfect for couples.

A beautiful location with well appointed amenities. The best thing though is the staff stay clear out of your way. I've been there at least five times and have never seen any grounds work, and hardly any staff. One hardly ever sees other guests except on the rain forest walks. A wonderful place of solitude awaits you!

Firstly the drive up is great. Wish I was in my own car instead of the hire. Then the place itself. We stayed at the mountain Byron lodge. And Omg the pictures don't do it justice. The room and the view is just amazing.
